At Hopwood's Pony Ranch we understand that the stallion is only part of the equation. Our mares
are selected for conformation, disposition and maternal instinct. Our mares are all allowed to
mature before being bred. We do not breed until age 3 and many aren't bred until age 4 or older.
We also do not breed every mare every year. Due to Glenn's hip replacement we have several
proven broodmares and broodmare prospects currently for sale. If you see a mare you like feel free
to contact us to see if she is available. If she isn't we may have a close relative or a mare of similar
looks available.
